He was chairman of the German Technion Society e.V. (DTG) until 2012, refounded the successor society to Prof. Albert Einstein&#8217;s first Technion Society, which was banned in 1933, in 1982 and promoted scientific relations between Lower Saxony and Israel with a unique cooperation program. <br\/>Dr. Christian Hodler died at the weekend at the age of 92. The German Technion Society will establish a scholarship in his name to commemorate him and his work.
