Dean heads the Department of Astronautics

Since January 1, 2024, the Department of Astronautics has been headed by a woman for the first time in its history. Prof. Daniella Raveh, PhD, was trained at the Technion and the Georgia Institute of Technology and specialized scientifically in computational aeroelasticity.
This field of research investigates the interaction between aerodynamic forces and the flexibility of structures. It enables the calculation and development of the lightest possible aircraft. Get to know the dean in the attached article.
