The German Technion Society mourns the loss of its long-standing chairman, Dr. Christian Hodler. He was chairman of the German Technion Society e.V. (DTG) until 2012, refounded the successor society to Prof. Albert Einstein’s first Technion Society, which was banned in 1933, in 1982 and promoted scientific relations between Lower Saxony and Israel with a unique cooperation program.
Dr. Christian Hodler died at the weekend at the age of 92. The German Technion Society will establish a scholarship in his name to commemorate him and his work. Our thanks go to all those who support the scholarship financially with their contribution.
