Technion is the European leader in the registration of US patents

Compared to the last assessment, the Technion has moved up three places and now ranks 65th in the global comparison of universities filing US patents in 2023. The Israeli Institute of Technology is only a few places behind Yale University, NY University and the University of Washington.
Compared to all other European and Israeli universities, the Technion in Haifa is in first place with 48 registered patents!
Rona Samler, Managing Director of the Technion Technology Transfer (T3) department, and Prof. Lihi Zelnik-Manor, who heads the T3 department as Vice President for Innovation and Industry, are delighted with the good result.
